ICAA wishes to warn clients to be aware of scam artists who prey on vulnerable entrepreneurs by seeming to promise the guarantee of securing a large grant by paying a "processing charge" or "application fee". The Business Program provides assistance with business plan development, finance, accounting and bookkeeping, marketing and all other areas in which to get a business started.

Indianhead Community Action Agency (ICAA) Business Program

Mainstreet ImageICAA's Business Program is designed to promote, encourage and assist in the development of entrepreneurial opportunities. Services are offered to both start-up and existing businesses in Ashland (except the City of Ashland), Bayfield, Burnett, Clark, Iron, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, and Washburn Counties.

women-owned business image Clients of the program receive technical assistance in all areas of business, including but not limited to, business plan development, bookkeeping, marketing, business management, and financial analysis.

Loan packaging and ongoing case management is available. Assistance is offered in a classroom setting or on a one-on-one basis. Through the program, individuals may be able to take advantage of a Micro Loan Fund as well as financing through traditional lenders.
