Kinship Explorers

Designed in 1995 because of the lack of social outlets in a rural community for adults with disabilities, the Explorer Kinship Program was born.

The Kinship Explorer Program consists of 12 adults with mental or physical limitations.

They are interested in giving a part of themselves to the community, but need a supportive hand to make their dreams possible.

Volunteer/Mentors are recruited to To assist with activities. Mentors are screened according to Wisconsin Best Practices for Mentoring.
