In 1992, Indianhead Community Action Agency broadened its housing services to include a housing rehabilitation program utilizing federal HOME dollars.

The programs' purpose is to assist eligible low-income homeowners in making those home repairs that are needed to ensure the health, safety and well being of its occupants.

The program will repair or replace water heaters, roofs, electrical wiring, windows, doors, walls, floors, chimney, siding and other repairs necessary to bring the building into compliance with the Housing Quality Standard which is a requirement of the HOME Program.
