General Policies & Procedures

Indianhead Transit Services use sedans and wheelchair accessible buses/vans.

• Wheelchair vans must be requested at time of call.
• Seat belts must be worn at all times.
• No smoking, eating, or drinking.
• Safety seats required for children 8 and under - provided by passenger
• Cancellations must be made at least on hour in advance
• No-shows will be charged a fine of $6.00 and services will be refused for that day.
• No drive-through or diverted trip request will be honored
• Service cannot be provided to areas where driveways or roads have not been cleared of snow.
• Passengers must be ready & waiting near the entrance or in the lobby. ITS operators will not go further than the lobby of a building.
• Operators will only wait up to three minutes for pick-up.
