Our Indianhead Transit Service provides radio dispatched, demand response, door-to-door transportation services for Ladysmith and Rusk County Residents. DRIVERS ESCORT PROGRAM:The Driver's Escort program utilizes volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles to provide door through door service within Rusk County and beyond to destinations like the Minneapolis Airport. Wheelchair equipped vehicles are available if required. Individuals using this service include elderly and those with disabilities requiring urgent medical care including dialysis and chemo therapy. |

AFFORDABLE VEHICLE REPAIR PROGRAM: We have a full-time mechanic available for vehicle repair at a discounted rate of $20 per hour for those who qualify. To qualify, individuals must meet the Federal poverty guidelines, and contact the Connections Store & More at 715-532-7542 to get an authorization form. Our Transit Service will provide Ladysmith transportation service while vehicles are being serviced.
