Stillness & Strength Equine Series
Join us for a 5- or 6- week series offering Veterans the opportunity to develop practical self-regulation skills while engaging with horses in a quiet, supportive setting.
Sessions will focus on presence, awareness, and learning how to recognize and respond to stress in the moment.
As a participant you will spend time with the herd through guided interaction practicing grounding techniques that support emotional regulation, focus, and balance. Horses communicate through movement and behavior, which will allow you to experience connection and regulation without the need for conversation or explanation.
- No horse experience is required.
- These sessions are free of charge.
- There is no riding.
- Participants are never asked to share more than they are comfortable with.
- This is a space to engage, reset, and build skills that can carry into everyday life.
- Sessions are held in small groups of no more than 6 participants to maintain a sense of safety and personal attention. Individual sessions are also available.

Stillness and Strength Equine services will take place on
Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 pm at the
Operation Horses Heal, N8932 Zimmerman Road, Westboro, WI 54490.
