Veterans Crisis Line
If you are a Veteran, or you know one, who is in crisis, the Veterans Crisis Line may help. This is a free service and Veterans do not need to be enrolled in VA benefits or healthcare to call. This service is available 24/7 and connects callers to live support. The Veterans Crisis Line supports not just Veterans, but their families and friends who are in need. All calls are confidential. The caller is in control over the information given to the call center. Support continues after your call in the form of resources that can help when there is distress.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website guides Veterans, service members, and their families through obtaining benefits and care. The VA offers a wide variety of assistance from health care, education, employment, and more.
County and Tribal Veterans Service Officers of Wisconsin
County and Tribal Veterans Service Officers of Wisconsin serve all 72 Counties and 11 Tribal Nations in the state. CVSOs and TVSOs advocate on behalf of Veterans for local, state, and federal benefits.
Vet Centers
Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers that provide a wide range of social and psychological services, including professional counseling to eligible Veterans, service members, including National Guard and Reserve components.
WDVA Women Veterans Program
The WDVA Women Veterans Program addresses the needs of women veterans in the state of Wisconsin, creating a strong community. The WDVA provides outreach and education for women veterans programs and issues by encouraging and supporting recognition of women veterans’ contributions to Wisconsin and the nation.
Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP)
Designed by the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs, the Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP) connects Veterans to community services and provide case management and support, with a special focus on treatment and recovery.

DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS
DAV’s free, professional assistance helps veterans and their families get the benefits they’ve earned—staying with them through every step of the process. And because disabling injuries can affect veterans at any stage in life, DAV is there with support whenever they need it.
