Are you struggling to find work since the pandemic? Or has the pandemic negatively affected your occupation? WAI can help!
WAI offers supportive services, on-the-job training, and skills training.
Supportive Services
- If you’re starting a new job, we can help with childcare assistance, transportation assistance, housing, some technology and tuition, and more.
Skills Training
- We have a variety of options available to help you hone your current skills or learn a brand new one. By completing skills training, you can become eligible for more career opportunities. You will also get free enrollment in *Move to Manufacturing course, including Forklift Certification.
On-The-Job Training
- We make starting a new career easy by providing on-the-job training so you can learn in the same environment you’ll be working in and to learn skills for more advanced roles.
You may be eligible if you are an unemployed worker, a part time worker, an underemployed worker*, or an incumbent worker*.
*Underemployed and incumbent workers may be eligible if they have experienced a negative economic impact due to the pandemic in their occupation or level of training.
