A little about us.

Founded in 1966, ICAA is a community action agency with a rich history that is part of a network of more than 1,000 community action agencies across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Community Action exists as a way to fight poverty in our local communities by leveraging federal, state, and local resources in unique ways that serve our localities best.

We are teachers, business people, students, and leaders all with the same goal: working together with individuals, families, and the community to create and support local solutions for local needs. We help remove barriers so people can access resources, education, and services to increase financial security. We work hard and find satisfaction in that. We also care deeply about our work, but have fun doing it! We see a bright future, and are excited to be a part of it.

Do you want to make a difference in your world? Start at ICAA!
